General information
The 2nd International Symposium on Jet Propulsion and Power Engineering (ISJPPE) is jointly
organized by Beihang University (Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, BUAA) of
China and RWTH Aachen University of Germany . The main goal of the ISJPPE is to review recent
progress achieved in jet propulsion and power engineering to facilitate the exchange of results and
hold discussions among scientists and engineers in this field. A broad cooperation and exchange of
new ideas between specialists would like to be promoted in order to consolidate recent advances in
the knowledge of jet propulsion and power engineering. The official language for the Symposium is
English.
Topics include, but are not limited to:
• Air Breathing Engine, Thermodynamics, Intake and Nozzle
• Heat and Mass Transfer, Cooling and Leakage
• Structural Dynamics, Fault Diagnosis and Reliability, and Rotor Dynamics
• Turbomachinery and Microturbomachinery
• Noise and Acoustics
• Unsteady Flows, Vortex Flows and Turbulent Flows
• Multiphase Flows, Reacting Flows and Combustion
• High Temperature Materials and Coating
• and other topics related to jet propulsion and power engineering

Registration fee
Everyone who attends or submits paper to this symposium should register with appropriate fee.
For student registration, valid school ID is required.

The registration fee covers:
z All Technical Sessions and Keynote Lectures
z Bound Abstracts and Proceedings
z Reception Banquet
z Meals and Coffee Breaks
The fee for an accompanying person is USD 100, including lunch and dinner during sessions,
and reception banquet.

Upon receiving the Pre-Registration Form, we will send you detailed information about travel
and transportation, hotel reservation, format requirements on the paper, etc. You can also find the
information on the symposium web site (Http://WWW.ISJPPE.ORG/).
All the cost of the post tour will be charged on demand. An official invitation letter can be
provided upon your request to assist your visa application or other needs.
Proceedings will include all invited and accepted papers received prior to the deadline. About
20% papers selected by the scientific committee will be accepted to JOURNAL OF AEROSPACE
POWER, the premier journal in jet propulsion in China .
